Meet Sakina Khan, founder of Reading Resolved, who is deeply passionate about empowering students to succeed. With over 25 years of experience transforming lives, she blends expert strategies as an Orton-Gillingham Dyslexia Interventionist, Structured Word Inquiry Coach, and NLP Life Coach with mindset coaching to help students build confidence and achieve lasting success, academically and personally. At Reading Resolved, Sakina and her team are dedicated to guiding every student toward their fullest potential, both in the classroom and beyond.
Shireen Saamir
Shireen Saamir, co-founder of Reading Resolved, brings over 20 years of experience in specialized education, providing support in literacy, math, and personal development. Inspired by her own son's learning challenges, she pursued training in Orton-Gillingham (for literacy), Structured Math (using Orton-Gillingham principles), Structured Word Inquiry (for language skills), and NLP/Timeline Therapy (as a certified Master Practitioner accredited by ABNLP and TLTA) for coaching. Shireen empowers students and clients to overcome learning obstacles, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Samira Raza-Qureshi
Samira Raza-Qureshi, Director of Academic Coaching, Tutoring, and Admissions, is an experienced curriculum leader and teacher instructor with over 20 years of experience in the Peel District School Board. She has a proven track record of coaching students to achieve academic success at all levels, from elementary and middle school to gaining entrance into top university programs. Students who have participated in her programs have seen immediate and lasting results.
Tracey Bowes
After 31 years in the classroom in various roles (elementary/middle school classroom teacher, K-12 Learning Support, K-12 Music/Drama/Musical Theatre, Special Education Coordinator), Tracey left the public school system to work privately as a dyslexia practitioner. Tracey's background includes a M.Ed in Literacy, OG-Certification (Scottish-Rite Learning Centre), LETRS (Language Essentials for Teaching Reading and Spelling) and EBLI-Certification (Evidence-Based Literacy Intervention). She also has completed training in Structured Word Inquiry and ThinkSRSD Writing. Tracey loves to spend her free time with her family in Calgary (including an adorable grandson) and her dog, Ruthie B. Ginsburg.

Hello! My name is Vangjelika and I am a passionate educator and an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with over 10 years of teaching experience. Committed to fostering curiosity and lifelong learning, I strive to create inclusive and supportive environments where every student can succeed. Inspired by the transformative power of education, I am driven by the joy of witnessing "aha" moments, when students discover their potential and make meaningful connections between learning and their lives. What I enjoy most is mentoring students through academic coaching, helping them build confidence, set goals, and develop skills to excel in their studies and beyond.
